Deadpool. Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (1)

Wade Wilson: [voiceover, after Vanessa has agreed to marry him] Here's the thing. Life is an endless series of train wrecks with only brief commercial-like breaks of happiness. This had been the ultimate commercial break. Which meant it was time to return to our regularly scheduled programming.
[Wade collapses]
[…]
Vanessa Carlysle: I love you, Wade Wilson. We can fight this.
Wade Wilson: You're right. Cancer's only in my liver, lungs, prostate, and brain. All things I can live without.

(1) Basada en Deadpool de Fabian Nicieza y Rob Liefeld

Deadpool. Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (1)

Colossus: [Deadpool is about to shoot Ajax] Wade! Four or five moments.
Deadpool: Sorry?
Colossus: Four or five moments - that's all it takes to become a hero. Everyone thinks it's a full-time job. Wake up a hero. Brush your teeth a hero. Go to work a hero. Not true. Over a lifetime there are only four or five moments that really matter. Moments when you're offered a choice to make a sacrifice, conquer a flaw, save a friend - spare an enemy. In these moments everything else falls away...
Colossus: [Deadpool gets bored and shoots Ajax in the head, killing him]
Colossus: Really? Was that necessary?
Deadpool: You were droning on.

Deadpool. Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (1)

Deadpool: [raises his hands] WAIT! You may be wondering why the red suit. Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed.

[Points at a thug on the left]

Deadpool: This guy's got the right idea... He wore the brown pants!

[...]

Deadpool: Okay guys, I only have twelve bullets, so you're all going to have to share!

Creed. Ryan Coogler, Aaron Covington

If I could take everything that was good and put it into a bowl or something... and say, "Hey! Here. I'd like to buy one more day with my wife"... I'd do it. I would die a happy man, right then.

Dom Hemingway. Richard Shepard

Sin City: A Dame to Kill for. Frank Miller

Meet Joe Black. A. Casella, B. Goldman, R. Osborn, J. Reno, K. Wade

JOE: I love her, Bill. She is all that I ever wanted, and I've never wanted for anything because I've never wanted anything before, if you can understand.

PARRISH: How perfect for you -- to take whatever you want because it pleases you.  It's not love --

JOE: Then what is it?

PARRISH: Some aimless infatuation in which, for the moment, you feel like indulging.  It's missing everything that matters.

JOE: Which is what?

PARRISH. Trust, responsibility, taking the weight for your choices and feelings and spending the rest of your life living up to them.  And above all, not hurting the object of your love.

JOE: So that's what love is?

PARRISH: Multiply it by infinity and take it to the death of forever and you will still have barely a glimpse of what I am talking about.

Crossbones. Temporada 1 Episodio 4. Neil Cross, James V. Hart

- Are you aware that in the months of our acquaintance, I've yet to hear you express firm belief or disbelief in anything?

- Well, it seems to me the problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so full of passionate certainty.
I'm in no hurry to count myself among them.

After Earth. Gary Whitta M. & Night Shyamalan

Sin City: A Dame to Kill for. Frank Miller

About time. Richard Curtis

There's a song by Baz Luhrmann called Sunscreen. He says worrying about the future is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life will always be things that never crossed your worried mind.

The Grand Budapest Hotel. Wes Anderson

Rudeness is merely the expression of fear. People fear they won’t get what they want. The most dreadful and unattractive person: only needs to be loved -- and they will open-up like a flower.

El código enigma. Graham Moore (1)

Meet Joe Black. A. Casella, B. Goldman, R. Osborn, J. Reno, K. Wade

PARRISH: Be deliriously happy. Or at least leave yourself open to be.

SUSAN: 'Be deliriously happy'.  I'm going to do my utmost --

He smiles.

PARRISH: I know it's a cornball thing but love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with?  I say fall head over heels.

Find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart.

(a moment)

Run the risk, if you get hurt, you'll come back.  Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love -- well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try.  Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived.

Eat, Pray, Love (1). Ryan Murphy Jennifer Salt

Sometimes to lose balance for love... is part of living balanced life. In the end... I've come to believe in something I call "The Physics of the Quest." A force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity.

The rule of Quest Physics goes something like this: If you're brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting... which can be anything from your  house to bitter, old resentments... and set out on a truth-seeking journey... either externally or internally... and if you are truly willing to regard evrything that happens to you on that journey as a clue... and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher... and if you are prepared, most of all... to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself... then the truth will not be withheld from you.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Zach Helm

What Mahoney needed was the opportunity to prove to herself that she was something more than she believed.
